A New Arab Communal Village
This project grew out of the Sachnin-Yuvalim resident group that we formed in "Planning for a Shared Landscape" (see Past Programs). A plan for an Arab community based on the model of the Jewish community village will be developed, for up to 1,000 families. The readiness of the younger adult population to move to and create a new untraditional social structure will be examined. Jewish residents of such communities will accompany the process and share their experience and knowledge.
